FREE Greek Lessons for Third Country Nationals
KES College in collaboration with CARDET, the Municipalities of Agios Athanasios, Deryneia, Pafos and Agios Dometios and INNOVADE offers FREE Greek Language courses for Third Country Nationals, in Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Deryneia/Famagusta and Pafos
The Greek Language courses are provided in 4 different levels, for person with no knowledge of Greek up to expert Greek speakers. Each language level will have a duration of 75 hours and is offered in different time schedules, based on the availability of the participants.
Various rounds of courses will be delivered, starting from February 2016, following June 2016, September 2016 and January 2017.
A FREE TABLET will be awarded to participants that will attend more than 50 hours (out of the 75 hours in total) of 1 full course level, and succeed at the final exams.
Eligibility to participate:
Persons over 18 years of age, with a nationality of a Third Country (non-European Union country nationality) and have one of following statuses:
- Third Country National with a student’s or worker’s or visitor’s or Cypriot spouse’s residence permit
- Recognized Refugee
- Subsidiary Protection Status
- Asylum Seeker
The Greek language courses will:
- help you develop networks of contacts and integrate in the local society
- expand your job opportunities
- get acquainted with the practical aspects of daily life
- help you to participate in the civic, cultural and social affairs of Cyprus

If you are interested, please complete the APPLICATION FORM below and send it scanned with your passport and residence permit copies via email at greekcourses@cardet.org or via fax at 22002115 or deliver it at CARDET offices (Lykavitou Avenue 29, 1st Floor, 2401, Nicosia, Cyprus). Deadline of application: 1 month prior to the starting month of each course round.
