Iacovou Group, one of the most reputable and established Construction Groups in Cyprus, seeks to recruit an experienced and high caliber professional for the position of Truck Fleet Supervisor.

 

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensures the company’s smooth operation at all times

• Ensures the effective management and development of people, in line with the Group’s Leadership and Management Competency Framework

• Organises work requirements from previous day, in relation to site needs

• Daily monitoring of working and idle hours, according to the tachograph legislation

• Monitors tonnage per trip moved for maximum efficiency

• Organises repair and service schedule in co-ordination with the Workshop Manager for the achievement of optimum availability

• Accountable for the costing preparation used for tendering

• Supports the Executive Director of Supply with the preparation and monitoring of the company’s budget and is in a position to operate within any budgetary constraints

• Evaluates all information received, regarding decisions of financial impact and makes appropriate recommendations to the Executive Director of Supply

• Observes the Statutory, Contractual and Company requirements with regards to Health, Safety, Security and the Environment and abides by any rules applicable to his/her scope of work

• Promotes the Group Policy for QHSSE and ensures that his/her acts or omissions do not harm the health and safety of himself/herself, others or the environment

• Computer Literacy

• Previous experience will be considered as advantage
