Amathus Corporation Ltd, a leading force in Cyprus’ travel and tourism industry, is looking to recruit a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Accounts Department in Nicosia.

 

Main Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and complete accounting books and records
• Issue sales invoices and input purchase invoices
• Prepare weekly income and expenses reports
• Perform monthly reconciliations (Bank, Visa, Petty Cash, Intercompany, Debtors, Creditors)
• Assist with year-end balance agreements
• Ensure internal and external deadlines are consistently met
• Carry out any other accounting-related duties as required

Candidate Profile

• Diploma or University Degree in Accounting or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Familiarity with VAT and Taxation legislation (VIES/INTRASTAT)
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent command of Greek and fluency in English (both written and spoken)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Attractive remuneration package based on experience
• Five-day work week (Monday to Friday)
• Working hours: 08:30 – 17:00
• 21 days of annual leave, plus public holidays
