CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a versatile and innovative technology company that has been enabling digital transformation solutions for financial institutions in more than 30 countries worldwide, we are seeking to recruit an iOS Developer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As an iOS Developer, you will ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of iOS mobile applications. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in a relevant field of study, who hold proven experience in iOS application development, with specific knowledge of SwiftUI. You will need to have a solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle, along with familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a 13th salary, and Provident Fund.
 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Diagnose performance issues and fix bugs to increase the functionality and performance of new applications.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in iOS app development.
• Knowledge of SwiftUI.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices.
• Technical analysis and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Demonstrated interest in learning new technologies.

 

Nice to Have: 

• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
• Understanding of code versioning tools.
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc...
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Worked with MVVM software architectural pattern.
