Company / Client Overview

On behalf of our client, a well-established accounting and professional services firm based in Larnaca, we are seeking to recruit an Auditor to join its growing Audit Department.

The firm provides audit, accounting, tax, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of local and international clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious audit professional looking to develop their career within a structured, supportive, and professional environment.

Role Overview

As the Auditor, you will be responsible for performing audit assignments for a portfolio of local and international clients, preparing financial statements and tax computations, and ensuring all engagements are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines. You will work closely with the Audit Manager while contributing to the delivery of high-quality audit services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform audit assignments for a portfolio of local and international clients
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Prepare and submit tax computations
• Complete audit engagements within agreed deadlines and budgets
• Ensure compliance with auditing standards, accounting regulations, and internal procedures
• Communicate effectively with clients to obtain the necessary audit information and documentation
• Report daily progress, findings, and client matters to the Audit Manager
• Maintain accurate working papers and audit documentation
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the successful completion of audit engagements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• ACCA or ACA qualified or partly qualified will be considered an advantage
• Minimum 2 years of practical auditing experience in a similar role
• Experience working with both local and international clients
• Good knowledge of IFRS and audit procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent command of both Greek and English
• Strong computer skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines

• Monthly salary of €1,500 – €1,700, depending on experience and qualifications
