You will work with a diverse client portfolio, handling tax matters and ensuring compliance with Cyprus tax laws.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and submit tax forms (IR1, IR4, IR7, IR603, IR623) accurately and on time.
• Manage Cyprus taxes, including individual, corporate, temporary tax, Special Defence Contribution (SDC), and capital gains tax (where applicable).
• Calculate and monitor temporary tax liabilities, ensuring timely payments.
• Provide tax advisory and planning services tailored to client needs.
• Liaise directly with clients for the preparation and review of personal and corporate tax returns.
• Assess additional tax liabilities from various income sources (e.g. dividends, interest, rental income, property disposals).
• Handle non-dom applications and related queries.
• Prepare, submit, and obtain tax clearance certificates and tax residency certificates.
• Collaborate closely with audit and bookkeeping teams on tax matters.
• Ensure compliance with tax legislation and maintain accurate records.
• Knowledge of capital gains tax will be considered an advantage.
Requirements
• Fully ACA or ACCA qualified.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of Cyprus tax laws and procedures.
• Proficiency in Caseware Tax Forms and Cyprus Tax Portal.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and client-focused.
