The new cool kid on the block, Syko Bakery, is looking for a front of house / barista / team player to join us on our quest to bring good coffee, vibes and beautiful food & pastry to Kiti and beyond. This is a great opportunity for someone who shares our passion for specialty coffee, high-quality ingredients and understands the importance of friendly and warm service. 

ABOUT SYKO 

Syko Bakery is an artisan bakery specializing in sourdough bread and viennoiserie. We are a small team, with all goods baked in-house, using local & seasonal ingredients and serving specialty coffee, matcha and more. Opening its doors in June, Syko has become a local favourite. We are dedicated to excellence, treasure a detail-oriented attitude and care deeply about curating a welcoming and caring customer experience in our shop. 

WHO ARE YOU?  

We are looking for a person that is detail-oriented, communicative and willing to learn new things. You further appreciate the culture of good coffee, keep calm during the morning rush and keep your station clean. We are small business, so being an all rounder is a big plus. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing daily bar operations
• Friendly & welcoming attitude
• Following all Health & Safety and hygiene procedures
• Solving issues proactively and keeping operations running smoothly

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Coffee experience, dialing in, latte art etc (min. 1 year)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Fast learner and able to work under pressure
• Flexible, proactive and solution-oriented
• Confident taking ownership and supporting a team
• Languages: English required. Greek is a plus.

WHAT WE OFFER? 

• Competitive salary (1200-1400 p/m) based on experience  + standard holiday leave package; Monday & Tuesday - OFF DAYS 
• Opportunity for growth in the business
• Opportunity for a flexible contract, approx. 25-40 hours per week depending on your availability
• Full time / Part time
