Business Relationship Officer

Job Type & Working Hours:

Full Time: 09:00—18:00 (1-hour lunch break)

Overview:

Ensuring smooth electronic money accounts/ merchants onboarding procedure. Contact Due Diligence and KYC gathering for the customer and merchant applications for onboarding and review Undertake any other tasks assigned by management which are related to his/her work. The Business Relationship Officer will be involved in the management of customer accounts and the onboarding/transaction monitoring procedures. The officer acts as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring that their payment needs are understood and addressed while maintaining compliance with the institution's policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the day-to-day interaction with existing business clients and merchants.

- Perform due diligence for client onboarding and ensure required documentation is collected.

- Provide support in the implementation of all AML/CTF/CES processes.

- Monitor the transactional activity of clients and identify changes in business activity, transaction patterns, ownership, or risk profile that may require review.

- Handle client queries, complaints, and service issues and ensure timely resolution.

- Assist in the preparation of reports.

- Support the preparation of commercial proposals, account reviews, and client presentations.

- Maintain awareness of applicable payment-services regulations and internal policies.

- Ensure all client-facing activities are conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Banking, Accounting, or a related field.

- Professional qualifications in banking, payments, compliance, AML, or financial services are an advantage.

- Experience in relationship management, banking, payments, fintech, financial services, merchant acquiring, or a related field is considered an advantage.

- Good understanding of payment services and the payment ecosystem is considered an advantage.

Required Skills: 

- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

- Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
