Job Profile:
Ararat – The Signature Collection is seeking passionate and highly skilled Wellness Therapists to join the team at Ararat Grand Residences. You will play a key role in delivering a seamless and personalised guest journey, with a strong focus on exceptional massage and body treatments tailored to each guest’s needs. From consultation and preparation to treatment and aftercare, you will combine technical expertise and genuine care to deliver a refined wellness experience reflecting our luxury standards.
Job Description:
· Deliver a range of massage and body treatments to the highest professional standards, ensuring a personalised and exceptional guest experience.
· Conduct professional consultations to understand guests’ needs, preferences and wellness goals, and recommend suitable treatments.
· Provide personalised treatments using appropriate massage techniques, products and therapies according to each guest’s requirements.
· Create a warm, calm and welcoming atmosphere throughout every stage of the guest journey, from arrival and consultation to treatment and aftercare.
· Ensure treatment rooms, equipment and products are fully prepared before each treatment and maintained to the highest standards.
· Maintain strict standards of hygiene, health, safety and cleanliness at all times.
· Ensure treatments are delivered with professionalism, discretion, attention to detail and respect for guest comfort and privacy.
· Provide appropriate aftercare advice and recommend suitable treatments or wellness products where relevant.
· Maintain accurate guest consultation records, treatment notes and appointment information.
· Support the promotion of wellness treatments and products, contributing to guest satisfaction and departmental revenue.
· Stay informed about current massage techniques, wellness trends, treatments and products through continuous professional development.
· Work closely with the Wellness team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department.
· Perform any other related duties as reasonably required by management.
Person Specification:
· Professional certification or qualification in Massage Therapy, Wellness Therapy, Beauty Therapy or a related field.
· Previous experience as a Massage Therapist or Wellness Therapist in a luxury spa, hotel or wellness environment is highly desirable.
· Strong knowledge of massage techniques and body treatments.
· Excellent understanding of guest care, wellness and treatment standards.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, professional and guest-focused approach.
· Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of service.
· Ability to understand and respond to individual guest needs and preferences.
· Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages will be considered an advantage.
· Professional appearance and a genuine passion for wellness and exceptional guest experiences.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a professional wellness team.
