Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Performing day-to-day bookkeeping and maintaining accurate accounting records.
• Processing supplier invoices, payments, customer receipts, and sales invoices.
• Performing bank, supplier, customer, and General Ledger reconciliations.
• Preparing VAT returns and assisting with month-end accounting procedures.
• Maintaining accounts payable and receivable records.
• Monitoring debtor and creditor balances and following up on outstanding accounts where required.
• Liaising with external accountants, auditors, banks, and government authorities when required.
• Providing general accounting and administrative support to management.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (LCCI Higher, CAT, or equivalent qualification will be considered an advantage).
• Minimum 1–2 years' experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
• Good knowledge of Cyprus accounting principles and VAT legislation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using accounting software.
• Excellent command of both Greek and English, written and spoken.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and a positive team-oriented attitude.
