Are you a motivated and detail-oriented accounting professional looking to grow your career? We are seeking an Accounting Associate to join our team and support the Accounts Manager in delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality accounting services.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and record financial transactions.
• Prepare payroll reports.
• Prepare VAT and VIES returns.
• Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
• Monitor debtor collections and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and management accounts.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax, VAT, and accounting regulations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Liaise with clients, auditors, banks, government authorities, and other external associates as required.
• Provide administrative and accounting support to the Accounts Manager and undertake other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• LCCI Higher in Accounting (minimum requirement).
• Previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role for at least 3 years.
• Professional qualifications (ACCA/ACA) or studies towards a professional qualification will be considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent command of both Greek and English, written and spoken.
