About the Role
KANIKA is seeking a talented and experienced Architect to join our team in Limassol. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to a diverse portfolio of high-quality hospitality and commercial developments across Cyprus.
The successful candidate will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from concept development and design planning to detailed design, interior design coordination, permitting, construction documentation, and site supervision. The role requires close collaboration with engineers, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver innovative, functional, and technically accurate architectural solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong design and technical capabilities, excellent knowledge of architectural practices, and the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and contribute to projects across all stages of design and construction.
- Develop architectural concepts, design proposals, planning submissions, technical drawings, and construction documentation.
- Prepare and coordinate detailed architectural drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Cyprus planning regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
- Participate in project meetings, site inspections, and coordination discussions.
- Monitor project progress, timelines, design quality, and construction requirements from inception through completion.
- Provide technical support and resolve design-related issues during the construction phase.
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architectural design and project delivery.
- Membership of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK) or eligibility for registration will be considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of Rhino or other 3D modelling software will be considered an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Cyprus planning legislation, building regulations, and construction practices.
- Experience in preparing planning applications, permit submissions, and construction documentation.
- Excellent design, technical detailing, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Fluency in Greek and English.
