Our Firm

Savvas Kasparis Audit Firm is an established provider of Accounting, Tax & Audit Services with offices in Nicosia and Larnaca.

 

We are seeking to recruit a motivated individual who has commenced ACA / ACCA qualification, to join our dynamic and friendly audit team at our Nicosia office. 

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execution and successful finalisation of statutory audits of local clients;
• Preparation of audited financial statements;
• Performance of KYC procedures;
• Handling of tax compliance matters for clients (preparation of annual tax returns, tax computations etc);
• Work closely and report to the Audit Manager on daily tasks, status and client issues;

• Communication with clients to obtain information and resolve queries on a timely basis.

   

 Criteria and Requirements:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or related;
• Partly qualified ACCA / ACA (progress towards qualification is essential);
• 1-3 years of recent audit experience in an audit firm;
• Knowledge of Caseware Audit International;
• Excellent knowledge of IFRSs;
• Good knowledge of Cyprus Taxation principles;

• Knowledge of MS Office.

• Strong communication and organization skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment;
• Time-management skills;
• Professional judgment;
• Ability to deliver results and tasks in a timely manner;
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.

 

Remuneration and Benefits:

• A competitive remuneration package with 13th salary will be offered to the successful candidate based on qualifications and experience;
• Friday afternoon off;
• Working hours: Monday – Thursday 8.00 - 17.00, Friday: 8.00 13.00.
