A.E. Evangelou Limited is a growing professional services firm based in Nicosia, Cyprus, providing audit, accounting, taxation, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of local and international clients.

As part of the continued expansion of our Audit Department, we are seeking a motivated and career-driven Auditor / Senior Auditor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to further develop their expertise within a dynamic and supportive environment.

The Role

The successful candidate will play an active role in the delivery of high-quality audit and assurance services to a portfolio of local and international clients. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and maintaining a portfolio of audit clients across various industries.
• Planning, executing, and completing audit engagements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
• Preparing and reviewing audit working papers and documentation using Caseware.
• Performing substantive and analytical audit procedures and assessing the accuracy and completeness of financial information.
• Preparing tax computations and assisting with the preparation of tax returns.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable professional standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality control procedures.
• Liaising directly with clients and developing strong professional relationships.
• Assisting in the supervision, mentoring, and development of junior team members, where appropriate.

Candidate Profile

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• At least two years of relevant audit experience gained within a professional services firm.
• ACCA and/or ACA qualification, either fully qualified or currently progressing towards qualification.
• Excellent command of both Greek and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Very good knowledge of Caseware and audit methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• A proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
