Our client is a well-established company in Cyprus, operating in the printing and visual communications sector. With over 15 years of presence in the market, the company has built a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and professional expertise.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed technical and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD for metal signage and structural systems. The role includes designing the structural framework of signage, ensuring stability and safety in installation, considering transportation practicality, and meeting all relevant technical specifications and requirements.

 Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D technical and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD software
• Design structural frameworks, mounting systems, and connection details for metal signage
• Ensure designs take into account transportation, lifting, and on-site installation requirements
• Propose appropriate support and anchoring solutions to ensure safe and secure placement
• Select suitable metal materials based on structural needs and project specifications
• Coordinate with production, installation, and project teams to ensure accurate execution
• Revise and optimize drawings based on technical feedback and project constraints
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• 10 years of professional experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman, CAD Technician, or in a similar technical design role.
• Proven experience in the design and preparation of detailed technical and fabrication drawings for metal structures.
• Diploma or degree in a technical or engineering field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Architectural Drafting, or a related discipline.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD 2D or equivalent CAD software.
• Strong understanding of metal structures, fabrication methods, connection details, and material properties.
• Knowledge of structural supports, load considerations, anchoring systems, and installation methods.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and collaborate effectively with production and installation teams.
