Work-mode: Hybrid (2 days working from home per week after probation)
Location: Nicosia, Cyprus
Salary: €1,800 - €2,000 gross per month (13 salaries - negotiable, depending on experience)
Working Hours: Flexible
Our client is a well-established professional services firm based in Cyprus, licensed as an administrative services provider (ASP) regulated by ICPAC. It provides accounting, tax, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of local and primarily international clients.

They are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join its team in Nicosia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, supporting day-to-day bookkeeping operations, and assisting with financial reporting and VAT-related tasks for a portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for a portfolio of clients
- Record financial transactions, invoices, payments, and reconciliations
- Perform bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Maintain and update accounting records using accounting software and CaseWare
- Laise with clients regarding accounting information and documentation requests
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and accounting standards
Support the accounting and audit teams with ad-hoc duties where required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Bookkeeping or Accounting role (ideally 1-3 years)
- Experience using any book-keeping software and CaseWare for financial statements preparation is essential
- Good understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Experience preparing VAT returns and reconciliations
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Strong communication skills in English and Greek
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
