Job Description:

 

The Facilities Caretaker is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, functionality, and overall appearance of the Hotel's facilities and its surrounding grounds. This role involves performing routine inspections, basic maintenance tasks, minor repairs, and coordinating with contractors or maintenance personnel to ensure the property remains in excellent condition.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• General cleaning and maintenance of the Hotel's premises and facilities
• Organizing and tidying storage areas
• Ensure all common areas, entrances, walkways, and outdoor spaces are clean, safe, and well-maintained
• Ensuring that health and safety regulations are followed
• Carrying out any other related duties as required
• Report significant maintenance issues, hazards, or incidents to management
• Manage waste disposal and recycling procedures

 

Requirements

• Previous experience in facility maintenance, caretaking, building services, or a related field preferred
• Flexibility for afternoon work and availability on weekends is required 
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
