At Pandora Bakery, we wish to hire a permanent employee for the position of Chief Accountant, for our offices in Nicosia.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to lead our accounting department and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and contribute to strategic financial planning.
 
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the accounting team
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
• Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll functions
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts
• Implement and improve financial controls and accounting procedures

 
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACA or ACCA preferred)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and tax regulations
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
