CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Advertising Agency with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a talented Copywriter to join their growing team. As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for developing compelling, original, and effective copy for advertising campaigns, brands, and marketing communications across multiple platforms. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field, who possess proven experience as a Copywriter, Content Writer, or similar role, preferably within an advertising agency or creative environment. Fluency in Greek and English is essential. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, which includes a 13th salary, and working hours are from 08:30 – 17:30 from Monday to Friday, with some flexibility.
 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Develop creative and persuasive copy for integrated advertising campaigns.
• Write content for digital ads, social media, websites, print materials, brochures, billboards, radio, video, and other marketing channels.
• Develop campaign concepts, taglines, headlines, slogans, and brand messaging.
• Collaborate with Art Directors and Creative Designers to create strong, integrated creative ideas.
• Interpret client briefs and translate marketing objectives into effective copy and communication strategies.
• Adapt tone of voice and messaging for different brands, industries, and target audiences.
• Participate actively in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative campaign ideas.
• Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Conduct research to understand clients, industries, competitors, and target audiences.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Stay updated on advertising trends, consumer behaviour, cultural trends, and emerging communication platforms.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Copywriter, Content Writer, or similar role, preferably within an advertising agency or creative environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating advertising campaigns, creative concepts, headlines, taglines, and long- and short-form copy.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
• Strong command of Greek and English is essential.
• Ability to write in different tones and styles depending on the brand and audience.
• Strong conceptual and creative thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with designers, art directors, and other creative professionals.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong research and problem-solving skills.
