If you are passionate about delivering exceptional guest service and thrive in a dynamic hotel environment, the Front Desk Agent position could be the perfect opportunity for you. As part of the Kanika Hotels & Resorts team, you will play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences by ensuring smooth arrival and departure processes, handling guest requests professionally, and supporting the daily operation of the Front Office. This rewarding position offers excellent opportunities for growth within one of Cyprus' leading hotel groups.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests and manage check-in and check-out procedures according to hotel standards
• Register guests accurately in the Property Management System (PMS) and ensure correct room allocation
• Handle guest enquiries, requests and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution
• Operate the telephone system, including wake-up calls and message handling
• Maintain accurate Front Office records, shift handovers and operational logs
• Support reservations, apply availability and rate controls, and record refused business
• Promote hotel services and apply upselling techniques to maximise room revenue
• Coordinate effectively with Housekeeping, Accounts, Restaurants and other hotel departments
• Process guest billing accurately and comply with cash handling and credit procedures
• Follow all hotel health, safety, fire and security procedures

Qualifications and Experience:

• Graduate of a High School (Hospitality School preferred)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Front Office position within a 4 or 5-star hotel
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English (additional languages will be considered an advantage)
• Strong computer skills, including PMS (e.g. Fidelio) and Microsoft Office applications
• Professional, guest-oriented attitude with excellent communication and organisational skills
• EU citizen or holder of a valid EU work permit
