About the role

A private household in the Paphos area is looking for an experienced House Manager / Housekeeper to run the home from the inside. This is more than a cleaning position: you take full ownership of the daily upkeep, presentation, and smooth running of a beautiful private residence — working independently, thinking ahead, and holding the house to a very high standard. 

Your responsibilities

– Daily cleaning and tidying throughout the house, including the kitchen and bathrooms 

– Changing bed linen and towels and keeping all rooms presentable at all times 

– All household laundry — personal clothing, bed linen, and towels — including washing, ironing, and putting everything away in its place 

– Organising recurring and seasonal tasks such as window cleaning and the cleaning of cushions and other soft furnishings — you notice when something is due and arrange it 

– Inventory management: receiving deliveries, unpacking new items, restocking, and keeping household supplies at the right levels 

– Acting as the eyes of the house — spotting what needs attention before being asked, whether it is an item running low, something to repair, or an area needing extra care

What we are looking for 

– Proven experience in a comparable private household or a 5-star hospitality environment 

– Absolute trustworthiness and discretion — solid references are required 

– A proactive, intelligent way of working: you see the work, plan it, and manage it without needing daily instructions 

– Well organised, reliable, and detail-focused 

– Good working English and eligibility to work in Cyprus 

What we offer 

– €2,000 gross per month 

– A 6-day working week (48 hours) 

– 24 days of paid annual leave 

– An employment contract with an immediate start 

– Live-out position — accommodation is not provided 

– A stable, long-term position in a respectful private household
