CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and expanding provider of Legal Services, we are seeking to recruit an Internal Accountant to join their growing team based in Limassol. As an Internal Accountant, you will handle a range of accounting duties, including the maintenance of the accounting books of the company, issuing invoices, arranging tax and VAT payments, handling payroll, and more! Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in a relevant field of study, and holders of, or those working towards a professional accounting qualification are encouraged to apply. You will need to possess approximately 5+ years of relevant professional experience, and be fluent in both Greek and English. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, which includes a 13th salary. Working hours are from 08:30 – 13:30 and 15:00 – 18:00 Monday to Thursday and from 08:30 – 14:00 each Friday.
 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Maintaining the accounting books of the company.
• Issuing invoices upon lawyers' instructions.
• Following up on overdue payments and sending reminders.
• Arranging Tax and VAT payments for the company.
• Preparing and sending annual accounting records to the company's external auditors for the preparation of the annual audited accounts.
• Preparing payroll for the company employees.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

• An academic background in a relevant field of study will be considered an advantage.
• Holders of, or those working towards any relevant accounting qualification are encouraged to apply.
• 5+ years of proven experience in a relevant accounting and bookkeeping role is essential.
• Prior experience with the preparation and execution of payroll.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Fluency in Greek and English.
