CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a highly diversified Group of Companies with international activities in the Marine, Offshore and Energy industries, we are seeking to recruit an IT Support Specialist to join their growing team based in Limassol. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support, maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, and ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, networks, and business systems. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated in a relevant field of study, who possess 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar position. You will need to have good knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, and hardware troubleshooting, with the ability to work well independently, and as part of a wider team. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, operating systems, and business applications.
• Set up user accounts, email accounts, and system access.
• Support Microsoft 365 and other business applications.
• Monitor and maintain network connectivity and IT equipment.
• Manage IT assets and software licenses.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing and collecting IT equipment.
• Apply software updates, security patches, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers when required.
• Maintain IT documentation, document technical issues and resolutions, and support company IT policies.
• Assist with IT projects, system upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and technology implementations.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT Support or a similar role.
• Good knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
