We're a growing accounting firm based in Larnaca, we combine solid technical foundations with a modern, forward-thinking way of working, and we're looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our team and grow with us.
The Role
As a Junior Accountant, you'll work closely with our accounting team from day one — not just data entry. You'll gain broad exposure to the day-to-day work of the profession.
You'll be involved in:
Preparing and maintaining general ledgers and financial records
Ensure maintenance of proper books of accounts in accordance with legislation of Cyprus and IFRS
Bank, suppliers and customer reconciliations
Preparation of reports as requested by Financial Controller
Assist the Financial Controller in the smooth operation of the finance department by undertaking tasks upon request
What We're Looking For
· 1+ years’ experience as a Bookkeeper/Accountant
· LCCI Certificate or Degree in Accounting and Finance or any other relevant field
· Time management and ability to work under pressure and within deadlines
· Keen attention to detail and produce work with a high level of accuracy
· Fluency in English and Greek languages
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel
· Good communication skills
· Knowledge of accounting software Cycom – Sofia will be considered an advantage
