Junior Auditor (2–3 Years Experience)

Company / Client Overview

On behalf of our client, a well-established and reputable professional services firm based in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Auditor to join their growing audit team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to further develop their career within a structured and dynamic environment offering exposure to a broad portfolio of clients and industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in various stages of audit assignments including planning, analytical reviews, budgeting, and preparation of working papers
• Assist in the execution and completion of audit engagements across different industries
• Prepare financial statements, disclosures, and audit-related correspondence in line with professional standards
• Maintain communication with clients regarding audit requests and supporting documentation
• Keep Audit Managers updated on assignment progress and deadlines
• Identify potential issues or opportunities for improvement in clients’ systems and procedures
• Participate in special projects and other assignments as required
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and within deadlines

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or another related field
• University of Cyprus graduates with a minimum grade of 7.50/10, UK University graduates with a minimum 2:1, or graduates from other universities with a minimum GPA of 3.33
• ACCA/ACA partly qualified or qualified
• 2–3 years of experience in audit
• Excellent command of Greek and English, written and verbal
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Good knowledge of audit software and accounts production programs
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Team-oriented with the ability to work under pressure
• Resourceful, proactive, and detail-oriented
