CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a well-established accounting and audit firm offering a comprehensive range of professional services including Audit and Assurance, Accounting, Tax and advanced Business and Corporate Consulting, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Auditor to join their growing team based in Larnaca. An academic background in a relevant field of study is desirable, and applicants working towards a professional accounting qualification are encouraged to apply. You will need to hold some prior experience in the audit field, and be fluent in Greek and English, with any knowledge of Caseware software considered a plus. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a generous base salary, 13th salary, and provident fund. Working hours are from 07:45 – 17:00 each Monday, Tuesday & Thursday, 07:45 – 15:00 each Wednesday, and from 07:45 – 14:45 each Friday.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performing audits in accordance with professional standards for local and international clients.
• Preparing of financial statements.
• Preparing tax computation and tax returns.
• Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
• Reporting to the Audit Manager.
• Working closely with managers, partners, and other Departments.

 

Key Skills/Experience:

• University Degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent or Certificate of London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Level 3.
• Studying towards a Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA/ACA) will be considered an advantage.
• Experience in a similar position is required.
• Fluent in Greek and English (both verbal and written),
• Excellent communication and organisational skills,
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Caseware software will be considered an advantage.
