The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the below:
Assisting the Compliance team in ensuring the compliance of the Company and any Group companies.
Monitor the Company's and Group's activities, including websites, customer communications, live chats, marketing materials, and operational processes, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Improve and maintain a solid understanding of relevant regulatory requirements, providing advice and guidance to various departments.
Support the onboarding of clients by performing KYC, AML screening, due diligence, and risk assessments.
Investigate alerts for suspicious activity and escalate to the AMLCO when needed.
Assist in maintaining and enhancing the Group's risk-based Compliance Monitoring Programme.
Participate in the drafting of Compliance and AML reports.
Assist in the preparation of internal policies, including the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Manual.
Support the review and approval of affiliate, partnership, and marketing activities to ensure regulatory compliance.
Assist with regulatory requests, internal audits, and ad hoc compliance reviews across the Group.
Provide staff training and guidance on AML/CFT risk awareness.
Maintain a good understanding of applicable regulatory requirements and provide day-to-day compliance support to internal stakeholders.
Undertake any other ad hoc compliance and AML duties as assigned by the Head of Compliance or Senior Management.
Skills & Qualifications:
Academic Background in Law, Business, Finance, Economics or other related fields.
At least 1 year of relevant professional experience is a must.
CySEC certification will be considered an advantage. Candidates who do not hold the certification but are eager to develop in the role will be supported by the Company in pursuing the AML and/or Advanced CySEC certification.
Strong work ethic with the ability to take initiative and demonstrate responsibility when required.
Fluency in both English & Greek.
Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
