At PHC Franchised Restaurants Public Ltd, we value innovation, teamwork, passion for great food and drive for results. We are looking for Junior IT Support Specialist to join our team.

As a Junior IT Support Specialist you will be supporting PHC Group of companies including offices and restaurants of international franchised brands including hardware, software and network systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain a strong, reliable, efficient and adaptable computer and telecommunications system

• Configure network systems and servers to accommodate PHC's evolving usage and security requirements

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware systems, including workstations, point of sales, printers, routers, and servers across all locations (stores)

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues

• Provide technical support for hardware and software issues to internal users

• Manage and update POS system settings, including new item menus, menu linking, price changes, and troubleshooting

• Monitor and verify the effectiveness of the backup process by perform interim tests on backup systems to ensure successful data retrieval

• Provide system-level support

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar position

• Experience in networks especially the TCP/IP stack and router configuration and operating systems

• Strong Knowledge of Windows Server 2012, 2016 & 2022

• Familiarity in Windows 10 & Windows 11

• Will be considered an advantage any Professional IT Certifications, such as: Microsoft MCP, MCSA, or MCSE

• Excellent communication skills

• Trouble shooting skill, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Hands on experience of installing IT hardware and software
