Role Summary

The Medical Engineer (Marketing & Direct Sales) role at A.G.F. Trading & Engineering Ltd combines technical expertise with customer engagement, playing a key role in the maintenance, installation, and promotion of Siemens Healthineers medical equipment. This position requires a proactive and solutions-driven individual who can ensure the optimal performance of high-tech medical devices while also supporting sales and marketing efforts.

Your Mission and Responsibilities

  • Fulfill customer needs for preventative and corrective maintenance, updates/upgrades, installations, and workshop repairs in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Complete all required service documentation electronically via a dedicated field service software, ensuring seamless communication with the Customer Care Centre and internal teams.
  • Comply with service escalation procedures and ensure that all customer requests, complaints, and feedback are appropriately addressed and communicated to the relevant department.
  • Implement the requirements of the company’s integrated Quality Management System, based on ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001:2013, and ISO 45001:2018 standards.
  • Maintain knowledge of safety instructions and operational procedures, participating in ongoing training courses (self-learning, computer-based, and on-the-job training).

Skills Required (Essential)

  • Successfully completed Technical or Degree training in Engineering or related fields.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to develop sound working relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Possession of a valid driving license.
  • Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical problems on advanced medical technology.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for training/specialisation.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to utilise computer-based tools for reports and communication.

Skills Required (Desirable)

  • Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
  • IELTS score of 6 or above.
  • Experience in service, maintenance, and/or installation activities for CT, MR, Molecular Imaging (MI), Ultrasounds, or other medical equipment.
  • Background in a customer-driven organisation.
  • An interest in fixing and making things.
  • Some knowledge of the German language.
