CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Advertising Agency with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a talented Motion & Video Artist to join their growing team. As a Motion & Video Artist, you will be responsible for creating engaging motion graphics, animations, and video content for advertising campaigns, social media, digital platforms, brands, and other marketing communications. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Animation, Motion Graphics, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Film, Visual Communication, or a related field, who possess proven experience as a Motion Designer, Video Editor, Motion & Video Artist, or similar creative role, preferably within an advertising agency or fast-paced creative environment. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, which includes a 13th salary, and working hours are from 08:30 – 17:30 from Monday to Friday, with some flexibility.
 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Create compelling motion graphics, animations, and video content for advertising and marketing campaigns.
• Develop video content for social media, digital advertising, websites, presentations, events, and other communication platforms.
• Edit and produce videos, including cutting, sequencing, sound synchronization, transitions, effects, and colour correction.
• Create animated typography, logos, illustrations, infographics, and other visual elements.
• Collaborate with the creative team to translate concepts, scripts, and storyboards into engaging video and motion content.
• Develop storyboards and visual treatments when required.
• Adapt video and motion content into different formats and sizes for multiple platforms and channels.
• Ensure all video and motion assets are aligned with client brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
• Work with footage, photography, audio, music, voice-overs, and other production assets.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for campaigns and content.
• Stay updated with trends in motion design, animation, video production, social media, and emerging technologies.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Animation, Motion Graphics, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Film, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Motion Designer, Video Editor, Motion & Video Artist, or similar creative role, preferably within an advertising agency or fast-paced creative environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating motion graphics, animation, video editing, and visual storytelling.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience with Cinema 4D, Blender, or other 3D software is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, composition, typography, colour, and visual storytelling.
• Knowledge of video formats, codecs, resolutions, and platform-specific specifications.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a creative team.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
