The Opportunity

We are looking for a results-driven Payment BD to expand and manage payment channel partnerships globally (especially for the Middle East and South Africa). You will be responsible for onboarding payment providers, maintaining stable settlement, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth for our platform. This role requires strong commercial acumen, market insight, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

 Key Responsibilities

• Develop and acquire payment service providers (PSPs), acquirers, banking partners, and local payment channels globally, and maintain excellent professional relationships
• Negotiate cooperation terms, fees, settlement cycles, risk control rules, and sign formal partnership agreements.
• Responsible for the full lifecycle of payment channel access: docking, testing, launch, operation, and stability optimization.
• Monitor daily payment performance, including success rate, capital flow, settlement cycle, and risk indicators.
• Work with risk, compliance, finance, and operation teams to ensure compliant, safe, and efficient payment services.
• Analyze market payment policies, compliance requirements, and competitor dynamics to provide optimization suggestions.
• Achieve monthly/quarterly payment channel KPIs: coverage, success rate, cost control, and channel stability.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, as well as having responsibility to set goals, lead team meetings, and provide guidance and support to team members.
• Ensuring compliance with the company’s anti-money laundering procedures.
• Staying up to date with relevant industry trends and developments and suggesting improvements to management.
• Assisting internally all departments with any related matters.
• Undertaking other tasks assigned by management.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above; 4+ years of payment BD or channel expansion experience in global.
• Existing resources and connections with local banks, PSPs, payment institutions, or e-wallets globally, as well as experience in the brokerage industry, is a strong plus.
• Familiar with local payment products: bank transfer, card payment, e-wallet, instant settlement, etc.
• Understand payment compliance, anti-money laundering (AML), KYC, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and project promotion skills; able to independently complete channel docking.
• Proactive, result-oriented, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
