At Waypoint Port Services, every port call matters. As a Port Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of port agency services, supporting vessels from arrival to departure.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving challenges. You will collaborate with shipowners, operators, crews, and port agents from around the world, gaining exposure to different cultures, international maritime operations, and a diverse global network of professionals while making a real impact on every vessel call.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all pre‑arrival arrangements are completed accurately and on time.
• Coordinate vessel port calls from pre-arrival to departure.
• Manage and support sub-agents to ensure smooth port and husbandry operations.
• Act as the key point of contact between vessel principals, crews, and local stakeholders.
• Monitor service delivery, costs, disbursements, and operational performance.
• Build strong relationships with clients, sub-agents, and service providers.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality, and business growth.
• Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications & Experience

• Fluency in English and Greek, both written and spoken.
• 1 – 3 years of experience in ports operation or relevant experience in maritime services.

• Clear, confident, and effective communication skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexible to provide occasional out-of-hours support in line with operational requirements.
