Company / Client Overview

On behalf of our client, a well-established and rapidly growing company operating in the processed fruits, vegetables, and ready meals sector, we are seeking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Quality Control professional to join their team. The company is committed to maintaining high food safety and quality standards while continuously improving its production and operational processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with experience in the food industry who is looking to grow into a leadership role within a modern and structured production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily quality control procedures across production operations
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and internal quality procedures
• Conduct inspections and quality checks on raw materials, production processes, and finished products
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions when quality issues arise
• Prepare quality reports and maintain accurate documentation and records
• Work closely with production and operations teams to ensure continuous quality improvement
• Assist in organizing and improving the Quality Control department
• Support audits, certifications, and compliance procedures
• Train and guide staff on quality and food safety standards

Requirements

• Previous experience in Quality Control within the food industry is considered highly desirable
• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field will be considered an advantage
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and quality assurance procedures
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Good communication and team coordination abilities
• Professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
• Fluency in Greek and/or English

What the Company Offers

• Immediate employment opportunity
• Initial position as Quality Control Supervisor with career progression to Head of Quality Control within approximately 6 months
• Annual gross salary package of €28,600 paid in 13 salaries during the initial period
• Salary increase to €32,500 annually upon successful completion of the probation period and promotion to Head of Quality Control
• Stable full-time and permanent employment
• 42 working hours per week
• 13th salary
• Paid annual leave according to Cyprus labor law
