Rental Officer & Driver — Job Overview

The Rental Officer & Driver is responsible for managing the day-to-day car rental operations while also providing safe, professional, and reliable driving services to customers. The role combines customer service, vehicle rental administration, vehicle preparation, and transportation duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, explain rental terms, and assist with vehicle selection.
• Prepare rental agreements, process payments, and maintain accurate rental records.
• Check customers’ driving licenses and required rental documentation.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after rentals and record any existing or new damage.
• Ensure rental vehicles are clean, fueled, roadworthy, and ready for customers.
• Deliver and collect rental vehicles from customers at agreed locations.
• Drive customers safely and professionally when transportation services are required.
• Provide airport transfers, hotel transfers, or other customer transportation when requested.
• Assist customers with basic vehicle information and respond to rental-related questions.
• Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, damages, or other problems to management promptly.
• Coordinate vehicle availability, returns, extensions, and replacements.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Follow all company policies, road-safety requirements, and applicable traffic laws.

• Support general rental-office duties and other operational tasks when required.

  VALID DRIVING LICENCE REQUIRED
