About Us

We're a growing boutique accounting firm based in Larnaca, we combine solid technical foundations with a modern, forward-thinking way of working, and we're looking for a motivated Senior Accountant to join and enhance our team.

The Role

As a Senior Accountant, you'll work closely with our accounting team from day one — not just data entry. You'll take ownership of a portfolio of clients under the guidance and supervision of the Financial Controller and act a key point for accounting and reporting matters.  

You'll be involved in:

• Preparing and maintaining general ledgers and financial records
• Ensure maintenance of proper books of accounts in accordance with legislation of Cyprus and IFRS
• Bank, suppliers and customer reconciliations
•   Assist the Controller with

o    the financial reporting for allocated companies

o    the smooth running of the accounts and the financial reporting function 

o    the preparation of all financial accounting responsibilities and deliverables

o    the preparation of periodic management accounts and reports

o    liaising with the auditors for the preparation of the annual audited Financial Statements

• Preparation of reports as requested by Financial Controller
• Assist the Financial Controller in the smooth operation of the finance department by undertaking tasks upon request

What We're Looking For

·         3+ years’ experience as a Bookkeeper/Accountant

·         LCCI Certificate or Degree in Accounting and Finance or any other relevant field or qualifications

·         Knowledge of Cyprus tax/VAT regulations will be considered an advantage

·         Time management and ability to work under pressure and within deadliness

·         Keen attention to detail and produce work with a high level of accuracy

·         Fluency in English and Greek languages

·         Proficient in Microsoft Excel

·         Good communication skills

·         Knowledge of accounting software Cycom – Sofia will be considered an advantage
