We are now recruiting for an Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team.

Position Summary

The Senior Accountant owns day-to-day transaction processing while also driving reconciliation oversight, statutory reporting, and payroll execution within a technology-driven, project-based business environment. This is a hands-on senior individual-contributor role — combining strong execution with BI-driven reporting and analytical rigor. The role works closely with the Financial Controller to ensure timely, accurate financial data, reporting, and payroll delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Own invoicing and billing across all revenue streams (subscriptions, licenses, cloud services, project-based contracts), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and approved supporting documentation.
• Monitor cash flow, receivables, and payables; execute payment plans; support collections on overdue balances; and coordinate supplier payment schedules.
• Execute payroll processing accurately and on time, including statutory deductions, payroll reconciliations, and employee reimbursements.
• Deliver payroll and closing activities strictly within the fixed monthly calendar, with zero tolerance for missed statutory deadlines.
• Track project-based costs, budgets, and consumption (e.g., service agreements, project billing), supporting accurate revenue recognition and cost control.
• Oversee customer, supplier, bank, and general ledger reconciliations, working closely with the Financial Controller and functional leads to resolve discrepancies and keep documentation audit-ready.
• Support tax, VAT, and statutory reporting and audit compliance, assisting with filings and ensuring consistent internal controls.
• Prepare and deliver management reports and dashboards using BI/reporting tools, and drive month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing, including accruals, deferrals, and prepayments.
• Ensure confidentiality, data protection, and compliance with information security policies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Professional certification (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) is a plus but not required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in technology, engineering, construction, or other project-based industries is preferred.
• Hands-on payroll execution experience is required.
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience using reporting and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
• Working knowledge of taxation, VAT, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Proficiency with SAP ERP or similar systems, and advanced MS Excel skills.
