K. Treppides & Co Ltd, the Largest Independent Consultant Cyprus based International Firm is currently hiring a Senior Auditor to join our Nicosia Office.

The successfully placed candidate will have the opportunity to preparation of audited financial statements and Income Tax Return of medium and large size companies as per statutory requirements and legislation with other team members.

Annual Gross Salary Range: €20,800 - €28,600

Final salary will depend on qualifications, skills, and experience, in line with our transparent pay structure.

Entry Requirements:

• BSc in Economic, Accounting/ Finance or any other relevant field

• 3 years of experience in servicing international clients

• Excellent use of Greek and English Language

• IT literate
• Partly qualified ACA/ACCA

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality

• Complete multiple client engagements; external audits in a wide variety of industries; and manage to meet budgets and deadlines

• Participate in assigning staff and budgeting hours for audit engagements and tracks progress of audits

• Review audit work of subordinates upon Supervisor / Manager / Senior Manager instructions before submission to for final review to ensure engagement compliance with the company’s quality control policies

• Work with other senior staff on specific assignments/secondments/special projects

• Maintain good relations/ deploy strong communication skills with subordinates, business associates and authorities during execution of duties

• Provide on the job training to subordinates to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in completing audit engagements

• Able to perform presentations required by the Supervisor / Manager / Senior Manager

• Able to attend client meetings with the line Supervisor / Manager / Senior Manager and be able to follow agenda prepared by Manager to fulfill client needs

• Be able to report Work in Progress at any time required by the line Manager and his/her Director

• Co-operate with the Financial, Taxation and Financial Regulation and Advisory Department in completion of client needs in Financial Reporting and Tax Assignments

• Perform other job-related duties as necessary

• Attend client meetings with the Supervisor/Manager/Senior Manager in charge, if requested; be able to assist in meeting client needs

• Stay up-to-date in the following areas (either through day to day assignments or though continues study):

• Audit Standards

• IFRS standards

• Company Law

• Taxation Law (Income Tax, Defence Tax, VAT, Collection of Taxes, etc)
