Our Firm

Savvas Kasparis Audit Firm is an established provider of Accounting, Tax & Audit Services with offices in Nicosia and Larnaca.

 

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Auditor who is either ACA / ACCA qualified or towards completing their qualification, to join our audit team at our Nicosia office. 

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execution and successful finalisation of statutory audits of local clients;
• Preparation of audited financial statements;
• Performance of KYC procedures;
• Handling of tax compliance matters for clients (preparation/ review of annual tax returns, tax computations etc.);
• Work closely and report to the Audit Partner on daily tasks, status and client issues;

• Communication with clients to obtain information and resolve queries on a timely basis.

   

 Criteria and Requirements:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or related;
• Qualified or partly qualified ACCA / ACA accountant;
• 4+ years of recent experience in external audit in an audit firm;
• Strong knowledge of Caseware Audit International software;
• Strong knowledge of Cyprus Taxation principles;
• Excellent knowledge of IFRSs and ISAs;
• Strong Knowledge of AML standards;

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment;
• Multitasking & time-management skills;
• Professional judgment;
• Ability to deliver results and tasks in a timely manner;
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.

 

Remuneration and Benefits:

• A competitive remuneration package with 13th salary will be offered to the successful candidate based on qualifications and experience;
• Friday afternoon off;
• Working hours: Monday – Thursday 8.00 - 17.00, Friday: 8.00 13.00.
