Position: Senior  | International Corporate Income Tax

 

Our International Corporate Income Tax services team is looking to recruit dynamic and high calibre professionals to join us at the level of Senior, in our Nicosia Office.

Our International Accounting & Corporate Tax Services (IACTS) team is the recognized Center of Excellence for pan-European statutory accounting compliance and corporate tax work. The team is part of the Global Tax Centre Europe and assists businesses in navigating complex financial and tax challenges across more than 30 countries, ensuring full compliance with local and international regulations. Our experts provide tailored solutions, to deliver efficient, accurate and strategic financial reporting and taxation support.

 

The Role

The successful candidate will join the International Accounting & Corporate Tax Services (IACTS) team.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Working on challenging, evolving and varied international clients

• Manage your own client portfolio aiming for very high client satisfaction

• Participate to corporate tax compliance production cycle and oversight for various jurisdictions (tax computations, reconciliations, group tax provisioning, obligations monitoring etc.)

• Organize PMO (Project Management Officer) support needed to deliver international client engagements specializing on corporate tax deliverables and tasks.

• Interacting with other Deloitte teams in Belgium and abroad on tax technical, compliance and status reporting matters

• Build a strong knowledge of tax compliance and statutory accounting processes in an international context;

• Coaching, mentoring and developing senior & junior team members

• Supporting go-to-markets activities

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree from a reputable university in Tax, Accounting, or related fields; Master’s degree preferred (or equivalent practical experience)

• Experience in international tax, tax provisioning, and/or statutory accounting compliance (asset)

• Advanced Excel skills; technology-minded (ERPs, tax provisioning tools such as OTP, etc.)

• Proven record of service excellence; deadline-focused and a strong team player

• Excellent communication skills; committed to efficient and effective performance

• Excellent technical and analytical skills

• Strong critical thinking with the ability to provide practical solutions
