Service & Technical Support Engineer

Varnavas Hadjipanayis Ltd (VHP Ltd) is one of the leading and most reputable companies in Cyprus founded in 1963. The position:

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual who is seeking a career in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to become a member of our professional team. We are seeking to recruit a Service and Technical Support Engineer for the Diagnostics Department.  

 

Key Duties / Responsibilities:

·         Visit customers on site for repair and/or maintenance of their equipment.

·         Plan and perform new equipment installations.

·         Find and discuss solutions with customers and provide customer specific support and inform them of any developments or service notifications related to Diagnostics products.

·         Participate in specialised training seminars for all products both locally and abroad in order to expand product knowledge.

·         Communicate and cooperate with all principals both in Cyprus and abroad to keep up to date on all aspects of their job, or in cases of troubleshooting.

·         Help promote the company’s sales by providing their scientific or practical expertise or by any other means as suggested by the Head of Diagnostics.

Requirements:

• University Degree, preferably in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical or Electronic engineering or a related field

• Self-motivated and a dynamic personality

• Ability to perform well within a team and deliver results

• Very good analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with attention to detail

• Excellent communication and relationship building skills

• Passionate about delivering exemplary customer service

• Professional attitude and integrity with strong work ethic

• Fluent in Greek and English, both verbally and written

• Computer literate

• A valid Cypriot driving license

• Previous experience will be considered as an advantage

An attractive remuneration package, including provident fund, company car, mobile allowance and frequent developmental training in Cyprus and abroad will be offered to the successful candidate according to qualifications and experience.
