Your Mission

 

You'll be the creative force behind our school's digital presence, bringing classrooms, sports, arts, innovation and community life to audiences across the world.

From filming exciting science experiments and sporting victories to interviewing students, creating Instagram Reels and designing eye-catching graphics, no two days will ever be the same.

You'll work alongside our Marketing & Communications team to ensure every piece of content reflects the energy, ambition and values of The Island Private School.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Capturing high-quality photography and video throughout the school day.
• Creating engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok.
• Producing short-form videos, reels and stories that people genuinely want to watch.
• Writing compelling captions that celebrate student achievement and school life.
• Designing graphics, posters and digital content using Canva, Adobe Express or similar platforms.
• Covering sports fixtures, performances, school productions, trips and special events.
• Helping to tell inspiring stories about our students, teachers and wider community.
• Supporting newsletters, website content and marketing campaigns.
• Working alongside our Student Marketing Team on creative projects.
• Building and maintaining a professional image and video library.
• Occasionally work evenings or weekends to capture major school events.

What are we are looking for?

• You'll bring energy, creativity and fresh ideas every day
• You'll be someone who really enjoys working with children

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Excellent photography and smartphone videography skills.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Experience creating content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok.
• Video editing using CapCut, Canva, Adobe Express or similar.
• Graphic design using Canva, Adobe Express, Figma or equivalent.
• Excellent organisational skills, enough to juggle multiple projects
• Ability to meet deadlines in a busy, fast-moving environment.

Bonus Skills/Experience

• 2–3 years' experience in social media, marketing or communications.
• Advanced graphic design skills.
• Adobe Creative Suite experience.
• Experience working with children or within an educational environment.
• A passion for photography, filmmaking or digital storytelling.
• Russian/Hebrew language would be desirable but not essential.
