Job Title: Waiter B/Waitress B

Department: Food & Beverage – Front of House

Reports To: Assistant F&B Manager
 

Job Profile:

Ararat – The Signature Collection is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Waiter B/ Waitress B  to join our dining team.  This entry-to-mid level role is ideal for individuals eager to develop their career in luxury hospitality. The Waiter B/ Waitress B  will support senior service staff in delivering exceptional guest experiences in line with 5-star service standards.

Job Description:

·        Greet and assist guests in a warm and professional manner, ensuring a welcoming experience

·        Support Waiter A in taking orders and preparing beverages when required

·        Deliver food and beverages accurately and efficiently to guests

·        Clear and reset tables promptly according to service standards

·        Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations

·        Assist with restocking of service items such as cutlery, napkins, and condiments

·        Respond to guest requests in a polite and professional manner

·        Support the team during large group bookings, events, and special occasions

·        Monitor guest satisfaction and escalate any issues to senior staff

·        Assist in setting up the restaurant for service and themed events

·        Follow all hygiene, safety, and operational procedures

Person Specification:

·        Eagerness to learn and develop within the hospitality industry

·        Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is an advantage

·        Friendly, positive, and team-oriented attitude

·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·        Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

·        Good physical stamina and flexibility

·        Strong customer service mindset and attention to detail

·        Willingness to support across different service areas as needed

Work Environment:

·        Fast-paced, guest-focused luxury hospitality setting

·        Requires standing for extended periods

·        Adherence to grooming and uniform standards

·        Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays
