Job Title: Bookkeeper for an Aerospace Maintenance CompanyLocation: Larnaca, Cyprus (On-site/Office-based) Company: United Aerospace Maintenance U.A.M.CO. Ltd Industry: Aerospace Maintenance, Repair &amp; Overhaul (MRO)&nbsp;Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day financial transactions of our MRO operations, ensuring high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced technical environment. This role is critical in maintaining the financial health of our aircraft maintenance projects for a Company which is expanding rapidly.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Daily Transactions: Record and categorize all financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries.</li><li>MRO Invoicing: Assist in preparation and issue detailed invoices for aircraft maintenance services, ensuring all parts and labour hours are accurately captured.</li><li>Inventory Tracking: Collaborate with the stores department to track high-value aviation parts and reconcile inventory costs.</li><li>Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts and credit card statements.</li><li>Supplier Management: Liaise with local and international aviation vendors regarding payments and statement discrepancies.</li><li>Payroll Support: Assist in processing monthly payroll and social insurance contributions for technical and admin staff.</li><li>Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and VAT filings in compliance with Cyprus regulations.</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping; prior experience in the aviation or technical services sector is highly preferred.</li><li>Education: LCCI Higher or a Degree in Accounting/Finance. (Partly Qualified for ACCA and/or ACA is considered a bonus.</li><li>Software: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or specialized MRO ERPs) and advanced MS Office skills.</li><li>Language: Fluent in English (the primary language of aviation); Greek is considered a strong advantage.</li><li>Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on data accuracy and meeting strict deadlines.</li><li>Communication: Professional demeanour for interacting with, contractors, and vendors and other stakeholders.</li></ul>&nbsp;What We Offer<ul><li>Above-average and competitive salary based on experience, (€26,000 - €33,000).</li><li>Opportunity to work in the dynamic and growing Cyprus aerospace sector.</li><li>Professional development within a specialized niche.</li><li>Contributions to a prestigious Provident Fund 10%</li><li>Working hours 08:00-17:00</li></ul>&nbsp;If you are interested please send your CV to <a href="mailto:theos@uamco.eu">theos@uamco.eu</a>
