Responsibilities:&nbsp;This job position has the following responsibilities and duties:&nbsp;•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Support the Senior Tax Manager in the provision of advisory and consultation services to clients on direct tax issues •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Review tax memorandums for companies and individuals, ensuring technical accuracy and completeness •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Supervise and guide junior team members in the preparation of tax computations and other deliverables •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Liaise with tax authorities on behalf of clients to resolve issues and obtain necessary clearances, such as tax residency certificates and tax clearance for transactions •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Oversee the preparation and filing of personal and corporate income tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable deadlines •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Conduct and review research on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance with current and future developments in local and international tax legislation/practice •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Prepare and review letters/reports/advance tax rulings or opinions in relation to taxation matters for submission to clients and/or to the Cyprus Tax Department •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assist in the management of transfer pricing projects, including review of documentation, benchmarking studies, and local file reports •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Monitor client portfolios and ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Perform any other related duties that may be assigned by the management from time to time. Requirements: The successful candidate should have the following skills, education, and experience: •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Holder of a university degree (BSc/BA) in law, accounting, finance, economics or other related fields •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA) or ADIT or other professional qualification demonstrating strong knowledge in the field of taxation •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Sound academic record •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;4-6 years of relevant experience in an audit firm, tax practice or related role •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Proven ability to supervise and review the work of junior team members •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Excellent organisational and time management skills •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to work both collaboratively in a team environment and independently •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail and accuracy •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English language •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Knowledge of Russian or other foreign languages will be considered an advantage •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;IT literate and adaptable to new technologies •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;High integrity and a positive, can-do attitude.&nbsp;Our firm offers: •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;An attractive and competitive remuneration package in accordance with qualifications and experience •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Bonus based on performance •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Flexible working hours •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Three days of paid sick leave per year •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Corporate parking paid by the company •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Opportunities for professional growth and advancement •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Training events that will help both your personal and professional development paid by the company •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Participation in our various corporate events and activities.&nbsp;Application:&nbsp;If you are a motivated professional looking to advance your career and join a dynamic and growing team, please submit your resume, cover letter, and references to recruitment@splcy.com.
