Senior Accountant | Accounting DepartmentArosal is a boutique firm of chartered certified accountants, registered auditors, tax and business advisors, providing high-quality and personalized professional services.We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and energetic individual who shares our passion for delivering value and quality to join our professional team at the position of Senior Accountant.&nbsp;Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities<ul><li>Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded</li><li>Planning, execution and successful completion of accounting work in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)</li><li>Recording of invoices, receipts, payments and preparing monthly bank reconciliations</li><li>Preparation of Debtors/Creditors reconciliation</li><li>Prepare fixed asset register</li><li>Ensure relevant provisions were recognized through the year</li><li>Preparing monthly management accounts and cash flow statements for clients</li><li>Preparing quarterly VAT reconciliation and submitting VAT returns</li><li>Apply critical thinking and professional judgement identifies and raises issues at the appropriate level</li><li>Build and maintain effective working relationships with the team and client personnel and meet client and firm deadlines</li><li>Regular reporting to the Manager about status, progress and completion of accounting work</li><li>Collecting, preparing and sending information to the Auditors</li><li>Collaborating with other departments</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Experience&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ACCA certification will be considered an advantage·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or other related fields·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; At least 2 years of experience in a similar role·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong financial analysis skills·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Responsible and professional with respect to appearance and behaviour·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Organized methodological with high attention to detail·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to maintain confidentiality in all situations·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Fluent in Greek and English·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Russian language would be considered an advantage·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to work in a team·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to work under strict reporting deadlines when necessary·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Basic understanding of database logic (keys, relationships, queries)·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Preparing all outgoing correspondence in a professional format.&nbsp;Remuneration &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Competitive remuneration package (incl. 13th salary) and performance bonus</li><li>Career development opportunities</li><li>Work in a young and dynamic international environment</li></ul>If you want to be part of our team, send your CV by email <a href="mailto:...................@arosalaudit.com">secretary@arosalaudit.com</a> and please state a subject Job Vacancy: Senior Accountant&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
