Accounting / Bookkeeping

Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records for company transactions</li><li>Record and reconcile bank accounts, supplier accounts, and client payments</li><li>Process invoices, purchase orders, expense claims, and payment runs</li><li>Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in management accounts</li><li>Monitor project-related costs and assist in job costing for construction projects</li><li>Ensure compliance with Cyprus tax regulations, VAT submissions, and statutory requirements</li><li>Assist in payroll preparation (if applicable)</li><li>Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and banks</li><li>Maintain organized financial filing systems (digital and physical)</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field</li><li>2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting (construction industry experience is an advantage)</li><li>Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting</li><li>Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)</li><li>Good knowledge of MS Excel</li><li>Familiarity with Cyprus VAT and tax regulations preferred</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Ability to work independently and meet deadlines</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Experience with construction/project accounting or job costing</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li><li>Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously</li></ul>
