We offer a dynamic, and multi-cultural working environment, with opportunities for&nbsp;personal and&nbsp;professional development.&nbsp;Career OpportunityWe seek to recruit a Senior Associate in the Accounting Department to be based in our Nicosia office.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Updating and maintaining the Group Companies’ books and general ledgers.</li><li>Performing banks and vendors reconciliations.</li><li>Performing reconciliations related to clients’ money and assets.</li><li>Perform daily reconciliations of client funds including banks accounts, ledgers, PSPs balances and platform balances.</li><li>Uploading bank payments where necessary.</li><li>Assisting in year-end external and internal audits.</li><li>Updating working papers (incl. among others fixed asset registers, prepayment lists, accrual lists, and payments lists).</li><li>Preparing regular financial reports (incl. among others trial balances and Profit and Loss), as well as other ad hoc reports upon request by management.</li><li>Complying with internal company policies and procedures.</li><li>Undertaking any other related tasks assigned by management.</li></ul>&nbsp;Experience and Skills Required<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field.</li><li>Studying towards ACCA (or equivalent) will be considered as an advantage.</li><li>5+ years of experience in an accountant role.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.</li><li>Solid knowledge of MS Office Suite, with Proficiency in Excel.</li><li>Fluency in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.</li><li>SAP accounting system experience will be considered as an advantage.</li><li>Previous working experience in the CFD industry will be considered as an advantage.</li><li>Very good organizational and prioritization skills.</li><li>Hard working with good interpersonal skills.</li><li>Work ethic and punctuality.</li></ul>&nbsp;Main Benefits<ul><li>Competitive Salary depending on skills and experience.</li><li>Discretionary annual bonus.</li><li>Hybrid working model.</li><li>Group Medical Scheme.</li><li>Provident Plan Scheme.</li><li>Training opportunities.&nbsp;</li><li>Friendly working environment.</li></ul>&nbsp;How to applyIf you wish to join our team, send us your CV in English&nbsp;at&nbsp;<a href="mailto:careers@markets.com">careers@markets.com</a>,&nbsp;mentioning the title of the position in the subject of the email.&nbsp;Due to the high volume of applicants only successful candidates will be contacted.
