CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and leading company operating in the Aviation & Transportation industry, we are seeking to recruit an Electrical Engineer to join their growing team based in Paphos. Reporting to the Head of Technical Department, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, cost effective and reliable maintenance and upgrades of the airports infrastructure and equipment in line with the preventive maintenance plan and the Company’s policies, plans and procedures. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering, who are members of ETEK and possess approximately 3+ years of relevant working experience. Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD 2D is required, while knowledge of AutoCAD, technical report writing, and MS Project will be considered an advantage. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, based on skills and experience, which includes some flexibility with working hours, as well as hybrid working options.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Maintenance contract management.
• Preventive, reactive and major maintenance planning.
• Project management, from inception to completion and handover to end user.
• Optimization of maintenance and repair costs and processes.
• Follow up and control of service provider Key Performance Indicators.
• Monitoring of on energy consumption and energy management.
• Participation in various tasks including electrical design, collaboration with other engineering disciplines,  construction of new facilities at both airports,  renovations, improvements, and upgrades.
• Reporting of progress and performance on both maintenance and project activities.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (must be able to register to ETEK).
• Minimum 3-5 years relevant working experience.
• Excellent knowledge on AutoCAD 2D.
• Very good of knowledge of MS Office with particular reference in advance use of Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge on energy management.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, technical report writing, and MS Project will be considered an advantage.
• Fluency in Greek and English, both verbal and written.
