Job Summary:The Accounts Assistant will handle day-to-day financial transactions and assist with basic accounting functions. The ideal candidate should be familiar with ERP systems, maintain accurate financial records, and support smooth internal operations within the accounting department.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:1. Bookkeeping &amp; Accounting Support<ul><li>Record daily financial transactions (purchases, sales, expenses, payments).</li><li>Maintain general ledger entries and perform regular reconciliations.</li><li>Assist with monthly closings and reporting.</li><li>Support preparation of VAT filings and social insurance payments.</li><li>Help prepare documentation for auditors and external accountants.</li></ul>&nbsp;2. ERP System Use<ul><li>Enter all transactions into the company’s ERP system accurately and timely.</li><li>Generate reports (stock, cost of goods sold, purchase history, etc.) as requested.</li><li>Support inventory and procurement tracking via the ERP system.</li><li>Help train other users on ERP data entry or reporting functions if required.</li></ul>&nbsp;3. Office &amp; Financial Administration<ul><li>Monitor supplier accounts and assist with payment schedules.</li><li>Issue invoices and ensure proper filing of financial documents.</li><li>Assist with payroll processing and timesheet checks (if required).</li><li>Liaise with banks, suppliers, and other external stakeholders as needed.</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications:<ul><li>Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</li><li>At least 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.</li><li>Good working knowledge of ERP/accounting software (e.g., SoftOne, SAP, Esoft, or similar).</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.</li><li>Basic understanding of Cypriot VAT and tax system is a plus.</li><li>Fluent in Greek and English.</li></ul>&nbsp;Desirable Attributes:<ul><li>High attention to detail and numerical accuracy.</li><li>Discreet and trustworthy with handling financial data.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.</li><li>Familiarity with manufacturing or dairy industry processes is a plus.</li></ul>&nbsp;RemunerationAn attractive and competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, including:<ul><li>13th salary</li><li>Provident Fund</li><li>Professional and supportive working environment</li><li>Opportunities for advancement and professional development within the organization</li></ul>&nbsp;How to apply:&nbsp;Please submit your CV to Ioannis Kailis at <a href="mailto:giannos8@gmail.com">giannos8@gmail.com</a>All applications will be treated with strict confidentiality.
