The Role:&nbsp;We are seeking to recruit a passionate and self-motivated professional for the position of Internal Audit Associate in Nicosia.&nbsp;Duties and Responsibilities:&nbsp;• Support the execution of internal audit assignments for our clients, primarily regulated entities (e.g., Investment Firms, Administrative Service Providers, Payment Institutions, etc.).• Assist in drafting internal audit planning documents, programs, and reports tailored to each client engagement.• Participate in the collection and review of client documentation (e.g., internal policies, procedural manuals, compliance records).• Prepare and maintain detailed audit working papers in accordance with our methodology and applicable regulatory standards, reflecting each client’s specific operations.• Help identify, document, and communicate internal control weaknesses and regulatory compliance gaps within client operations.• Monitor outstanding audit items and coordinate follow-ups with client representatives to ensure timely responses.• Assist in conducting regulatory research and interpreting CySEC, other EU directives, or foreign jurisdiction frameworks relevant to each client.• Format, finalize, and review client-specific audit reports prior to submission to the client or competent authorities.• Ensure accurate maintenance of digital audit files and documentation logs for each client engagement.&nbsp;Qualifications and Requirements:&nbsp;• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.• Holding a newly obtained ACCA qualification or other relevant professional certification will be considered an advantage.• Holding a CySEC AML, Basic, or Advanced Certification will be considered an advantage.• Prior experience in an audit or regulatory compliance environment will be considered an advantage.• Basic understanding of the CySEC regulatory framework will be considered an advantage.• Strong interest in internal audit, financial regulation, and compliance. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.•Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.&nbsp;Benefits:&nbsp;• Attractive remuneration package based on qualifications and experience, including 13th salary.• “Dress for Your Day” scheme.• Flexible working hours.• Afternoon off on Fridays.• Up to 2 work from home days per week.• Medical insurance.• Provident fund.• Employee referral scheme.• Excellent opportunities for career development and advancement.&nbsp;To apply for this vacancy <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://app.steprole.com/job-application-process/1748873490871x661657048008622100">click here&nbsp;</a>&nbsp;All applicants will be treated with strict confidentiality.
